North Carolina Linebacker Commits To Louisville

It's the first day of fall camp for the 2013 season, and Charlie Strong's 2014 recruiting class is already nearly full.

The 23rd player from the class to give Louisville a verbal commitment is Isaac Stewart, a three-star linebacker from Matthews, N.C. Jody Demling of was the first to break the news.

Rated as the 31st-best player in the state of North Carolina, Stewart had offers from both UNC and NC State, but chose to move away from home for his college ball. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound middle linebacker recorded 103 tackles and four sacks as a junior last fall, and helped lead Butler High School to a Class 4AA state championship.
