It's the first day of fall camp for the 2013 season, and Charlie Strong's 2014 recruiting class is already nearly full.
The 23rd player from the class to give Louisville a verbal commitment is Isaac Stewart, a three-star linebacker from Matthews, N.C. Jody Demling of CardinalAuthority.com was the first to break the news.
Rated as the 31st-best player in the state of North Carolina, Stewart had offers from both UNC and NC State, but chose to move away from home for his college ball. The 6-foot-5, 230-pound middle linebacker recorded 103 tackles and four sacks as a junior last fall, and helped lead Butler High School to a Class 4AA state championship.
