The latest word on Lorenzo Mauldin is good, or at least much better than it sounds like it could have been.
Mauldin, who was struck by a car while riding his moped in a hit-and-run accident Tuesday morning, will remain in the hospital overnight for precautionary reasons, but it sounds like any injuries he might have suffered are minor.
Preliminary tests on Mauldin have come back good. Will be kept overnight for continued observation and evaluation for precautionary reasons

Mauldin is currently resting at Jewish Hospital, where he is listed as being in "satisfactory condition."
