Congratulations, you woke up this morning on a Louisville football game week. The trek through the offseason jungle was not an enviable one, but now that it's over, I think we can agree that we're all a little bit better off for the journey.
The long-awaited destination arrives on Sunday when the ninth-ranked Cardinals take on Ohio in what has been dubbed a trap game by more than a handful of college football experts.
Gamblers seem to disagree.
Louisville opened the week as a 16-point favorite over the Bobcats, but that line has quickly jumped to 21 (or 20.5 depending on which sportsbook you're using). It seems like a large number for a U of L team that was just 5-7 against the spread last season, and which will be facing an Ohio U squad that returns the bulk of a team that beat Penn State and started 7-0 before being ravaged by injuries in 2012.
Feels good to be talking game week stuff again. Let's go ahead and do this for the next four months.
