Terrell Floyd Healthy, Back On The Practice Field

Cardinal fans had their first collective hold your breath moment of the preseason earlier this week when starting cornerback Terrell Floyd---Ok, before we go any further, I feel like this is obligatory....

That feels better. Let's carry on.

Cardinal fans had their first collective hold your breath moment of the preseason earlier this week when starting cornerback Terrell Floyd announced via Twitter that he was having an MRI.

According to Cardinal Authority's Michael McCammon, Floyd was back on the field and in good spirits Thursday morning.

The junior was back out on Thursday morning and told Cardinal Authority that he "feels good."

"It's football and we get banged up everyday," he said, adding, "I'm out here practicing every day, so I'm not complaining."

Floyd, who finished last season with a team-best three interceptions, entered fall camp as the starter at one cornerback on U of L's most recently released depth chart. He'll spend camp attempting to hold off junior Stephan Robinson and redshirt freshman Kevin Houchins for the No. 1 spot.
