It appears that 5-star 2014 guard JaQuan Lyle, who has been a top target of Rick Pitino and crew for a long time, has committed to play basketball for the University of Louisville.
Lyle confirmed the news via Instagram and Twitter:
Yes, I'm going to attend the University of Louisville!!! #CardNation

A consensus 5-star, ranked as high as 12 by Scout.com and being recruited by almost every premier program in the country, Lyle becomes the third member of what is shaping up to be an all-time great recruiting class. He joins Louisville hometown legend Quentin Snider and Seattle 5-star Shaqqaun Aaron, and the general feeling is we are going to try to get at least 1 or 2 more big guys in this class.

This is pretty awesome news. It's hard to look too far ahead to the 2014-15 team, but these three guys alone ensure we will not have a huge dropoff as we move into the ACC, and depending on who else joins (many think that Lyle and Trey Lyles want to play together and we have been heavily recruiting Lyles for awhile now) and who comes back, well....let's just say the future is bright. Like the present.
Boom. #trezzing so hard right now, you guys.
