Louisville Football's Season-Opener Moved To Sept. 1

The Cards may not be playing the Cats in week one, but Louisville football will still be starting its 2013 campaign on Labor Day weekend Sunday.

According to ESPN's Brett McMurphy, the Louisville/Ohio season-opener has been moved from Saturday, Aug. 31 to Sunday, Sept. 1. The game will kickoff at 3:30 p.m. and be televised by ESPN.

Not a bad break for Cardinal tailgaters to get the season going. Just call it the Teddy effect.
