Today marks the city of Louisville's 233rd birthday, and I'm celebrating in the most Louisville-appropriate manner possible: Reading Hunter Thompson, watching old Muhammad Ali fights and listening to the Get Down Clique.
How have I left my mark on this city? Uhh, how about a quick rap sheet...
--I've snuck into the Derby at least six times since 2002.
--I own the highest batting average in the history of Slugger Field (1-for-1).
--I once delivered a package west of 8th St...on foot.
--I once helped convince some people to wear these creepy Cardinal masks.
--I've been inside the Ali Museum, but still never toured the Ali Museum.
Ok, so I probably could have done more.
In all seriousness, happy birthday, Louisville. Never change.
