Cards Land Another Commitment From Florida

Andy Lyons

For the fourth time in five days, a member of the 2014 class has committed to play football at Louisville.

On Tuesday it was Jacksonville offensive lineman Kavaris Harkless, a three-star prospect, who pulled the trigger.

Harkless, a 6'5, 275-pound star for Trinity Christian Academy, also had offers from Minnesota, Maryland and Iowa State, among others. He's known for his athleticism, an asset which will come in great handy after he adds some weight.

"Kavaris has a long body, a prototypical tackle's body," Trinity Christian assistant coach Gerard Ross told the C-J. " He is kind of undersized (as far as weight) but he has great feet, and he's very aggressive. They figured they'd put some weight on him, and he'd be a great fit. He's a very athletic tackle. He'll be 285 or 290 before he leaves high school, easily."

Harkless becomes the sixth member of Charlie Strong's 2014 recruiting class.

He doesn't have a highlight video on YouTube, but I dig his hat.
