Louisville defensive line coach Clint Hurtt has been placed on administrative leave while he prepares to answer the alleged of violations the NCAA says he committed while he was at Miami, U of L announced on Friday.
Hurtt, who is accused of providing "false and misleading information," has until May 20 to respond to the allegations.
"We've given him that time and I think it's good that he's doing that," Cardinal head coach Charlie Strong said. "With the many distractions, he just can't do the job that we're asking him to do right now."
Strong is handling Hurtt's defensive line duties during spring practice, which began on Wednesday. Hurtt is also not currently doing any recruiting for the program.
