Louisville's 2013 football schedule being what it is, it's extremely unlikely that any matchup will be important enough for ESPN's College Gameday to broadcast from Papa John's Cardinal Stadium. But, that doesn't mean we won't see the crew this year. Lee Fitting, the producer of ESPN's popular Saturday morning pre-game show, Tweeted today that the show's spring football bus tour will be visiting Louisville.
Spring cfb@collegegameday bus tour to hit: Bama, LSU, A&M, Lville, osu, mich, MSU and ND. Starts 4/10.

It's not the fall, actual Gameday version of the show, but given that the tour starts on 4/10 and Louisville's spring football game is on 4/13, it's possible the tour will be around for the spring game, which would be excellent exposure for what is shaping up to be one of the best seasons in Louisville football history. The Cardinals will likely begin the season ranked in the top 10 and be led by a quarterback at or near the top of all Heisman lists.
Also of note: that's some pretty good company for Louisville to be keeping. To be selected for the same tour that will make stops at Alabama, Ohio State, Texas A&M, Michigan, LSU, Michigan State, and Notre Dame says a great deal about the perception of Louisville football headinh into 2013. With a move to the ACC coming in 2014, the future for Cardinals football looks increasingly brighter.
