Nearly two weeks after the last future Cardinal inked with U of L on national signing day, Charlie Strong landed a huge addition for his recruiting class of 2013.

Stacy Thomas, 6-foot-2, 235-pound linebacker from Miami, signed a letter of intent with Louisville after visiting the campus over the weekend. Thomas is a four-star recruit who is regarded as the 24th-best linebacker in the country by Rivals.com. He could also play defensive end in college.

"Louisville felt like the place for me," Thomas told The Courier-Journal. "(It is) a very close team."

Thomas missed all but five games of his senior season due to a knee injury, but claims he's back to 100 percent now. Before his injury he held scholarship offers from Florida, Florida State, Notre Dame, Wisconsin, and LSU, among others. He would up choosing the Cards over West Virginia and Ole Miss.
