In its first true road game of the season, Louisville eased past Florida International 85-56 in its final contest before next Saturday's showdown at Kentucky.
Russ Smith led the way for U of L with 18 points, while (Cut-Up Patriotic) Wayne Blackshear chipped in 13. Former Cardinal Rakeem Buckles had a nice night despite being hampered by foul trouble, finishing with 13 points and nine rebounds for the Panthers.
