Former Cardinal great Kyle Kuric's charity - Kyle's Korner for Kids - is once again collecting toys to deliver to children in need this holiday season. Louisville fans looking to help out can bring a toy (or multiple toys) to tonight's game against Missouri State and place them in one of the donation boxes located in the main lobby of the Yum Center.
As has been the case in past years, the donated toys will be taken to Kosair Children's Hospital and The Home of the Innocents. Since Kyle is playing professionally in Spain this year, Luke Hancock has agreed to personally deliver some of the donation to the Oncology Unit of Kosair's on Christmas Day.
Also, because the toy collection has been so successful in the past, Kyle is planning on having some of the toys flown to Spain so he can deliver them to some of the children in a hospital close to he and his wife.
More from Kyle:
The King Stay the King.
Feels good to be able to say that again.
Also, if you'd like to hep out but can't make it to tonight's game, you can drop off toy donations at the U of L athletic office in the student activities center (SAC) all this week until Friday at 5 p.m.
This is a great thing, and it's nice to see it live on even after Kyle's playing days in Louisville have ended.
