Chris Jones is expected to be back on the court when Louisville takes on Missouri State Tuesday night at 9 inside the KFC Yum Center.
Jones missed Saturday's game against Western Kentucky because of an injured wrist, but U of L head coach Rick Pitino said the wrist's swelling went down remarkably over the weekend. Pitino also said the junior point guard practiced Monday morning and showed no signs of the injury affecting him.
Jones, Louisville's second-leading scorer at 14.9 ppg, has been the Cardinals' starting point guard in eight of the nine games he's been available this season. He leads the team in minutes per game (25.8), and also ranks second on the team in assists (2.6 apg).
Freshman Terry Rozier started in Jones' place for U of L's 79-63 triumph over Western Kentucky on Saturday.
