Graduation rates of Black male student-athletes at BCS schools

I certainly don't mean this to be a big downer, but as much time as we spend talking about these kids playing sports for the school we love, we should also think about what they're achieving academically. This report by the Center for the Study of Race and Equity in Education shows us that many black male student-athletes are still struggling to graduate at rates equal to their non-athlete and even athlete peers. And being that black males make up the overwhelming majority of male student-athletes at the BCS level, these numbers highlight some big issues with equity. It appears that our beloved University of Louisville is not immune. Not to mention, UofL's overall graduation rates are pretty abysmal when compared to other universities.

If you have the time, read through the report and comment. But please refrain from commenting if you don't check out the report first.
