Louisville To Make 14 ESPN Appearances In 2013-14

Andy Lyons

ESPN released its full television schedule for the 2013-14 season on Thursday, which revealed that the Cards will appear on one of the four letter network's stations 14 times over the course of the next few months. Ten of those 14 appearances will be American Athletic Conference games.

The other big thing that catches your eye when looking at the schedule is how many more 9 p.m. games Louisville will play this season than in years past. We'd better hope players adjust to these new hand-checking rules before the start of the new year or we're going to be missing a lot of first half action.

Here are all of Louisville's ESPN appearances this season:

Nov. 23 vs. Fairfield (Hall of Fame Tipoff Classic) - 2 p.m. (ESPN3)

Nov. 24 vs. TBD (Tipoff Classic...probably North Carolina) - TBD...probably 1 p.m. (ESPN)

Dec. 14 vs. Western Kentucky (Billy Minardi Classic) - Noon (ESPN2)

Dec. 17 vs. Missouri State - 9 p.m. (ESPN2)

Dec. 31 At Central Florida - 5 p.m. (ESPN2)

Jan. 9 vs. Memphis - 7 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

Jan. 18 At Connecticut (Gameday game) - 9 p.m. (ESPN)

Jan. 22 At South Florida - 7 p.m. (ESPNU)

Jan. 30 vs. Cincinnati - 7 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

Feb. 1 vs. Central Florida - 9 p.m. (ESPNU)

Feb. 5 At Houston - 9 p.m. (ESPNU)

Feb. 13 At Temple (Rivalry Week)  - 7 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

Feb. 16 vs. Rutgers - 6 p.m. (ESPN2)

Feb. 27 vs. Temple - 9 p.m. (ESPN or ESPN2)

Oh, Louisville/Temple. One of college basketball's fiercest conference rivalries for decades now.
