Louisville Lands Second 2015 Commit In Georgia Running Back

Kim Klement-USA TODAY Sports

Charlie Strong received his second commitment from the class of 2015 when Hardaway High (Ga.) running back Justin Crawford popped for the Cards Monday night.

The 6'0, 195-pound Crawford was also being recruited heavily by Georgia and Auburn, and had an early scholarship offer from Boston College. He joins Mississippi quarterback Ross Trail as early Cardinal commits.

Crawford played in just five games as a sophomore in 2012 after transferring in from another school, but posted some ridiculous numbers. He finished the year with 1,243 all-purpose yards and seven touchdowns, and rushed for more than 300 yards in a single game. He's played mostly quarterback this year for a Hardaway team that has little help to offer.

Crawford is also a track and field standout who won the State GHSA AAAAA Long Jump last year in his first season of competition. He became the state champion by out jumping his competitors with a jump of over 22.5 feet.

Video of Crawford is available here.
