Florida Linebacker Picks Louisville, Punks Kentucky

Keith Kelsey, a three-star linebacker from Gainesville (Fla.) High School, committed to Louisville on Monday morning, but it's the way he committed that may have become the bigger story.

Sitting behind a table with hats from U of L, South Florida and Kentucky, Kelsey did the "this fall I will be playing for" routine before reaching for the UK hat and putting it on. He then said, "Psyche! I am a Louisville Cardinal, baby. Go Cards."

That should garner a nice response from the other side...and from people who still enjoy utilizing "psyche!" in jokes.

Kelsey, who stands 6'1, 220-pounds, recorded 193 tackles in his senior season, including 6.5 sacks sacks, and also notched forced five fumbles and blocked two field-goal tries. He helped lead Gainesville High to the Florida 6-A title game.

Kelsey is rated as the No. 46 inside linebacker in the country by ESPN. His father played the postion at Florida.

Here is the 14th member of Louisville's class of 2013:
