U of L Commit Terry Rozier Scores 68 In Louisville HoopFest Win

The best piece of news for Louisville basketball fans over the weekend came Saturday night at Iroquois High School, where Cardinal commit Terry Rozier dropped a school-record 68 points in a double OT win for Hargrave Military Academy.

"This is something I never would have thought seriously I'd ever get, but hey, I'll cherish it," Rozier said afterward.

Rozier broke the previous record of 56 points, set earlier this season by teammate and fellow U of L commit Anton Gill. Gill finished Saturday night with 28 points.

Rozier was supposed to be suiting up for the Cardinals this season, but academic issues forced him to spend a year at prep school before joining the team this summer. He says he doesn't expect to have any issue getting eligible this go-round, and has been working with a tutor to make sure that's the case.

"School's more important," Rozier said. "I've got to get that job done to get to Louisville."

Here are highlights of the pair from Saturday night:
