Big Changes Coming For Card Chronicle

By now plenty of you have heard the rumblings about SB Nation's new United platform, a massive undertaking that has been in the works for months.

What this means for you all is that in the near future (like, extremely, extremely near future), Card Chronicle is going to look very different. I'm fully aware that the common inclination in these situations is to say "I hate it, it's not what I'm used to" and then sob for three hours. Trust me, I'm more resistant to change than any of you and I cry at least five times a day. But once you get your own tears out of the way and actually start navigating around the new layout, I think you'll find that it's pretty sweet.

Here's a quick rundown of what we're talking about to ease any fears you might have:

• SB Nation United is going to make our sites load faster and run better meaning you can get to the content you want faster.
• SB Nation United is going to make sure that you're seeing the best and brightest content up front with our flexible layout, modern design and reduction of clutter.
• SB Nation United is going to make the experience on our sites run seamlessly from every platform, whether mobile, tablet or computer. No matter where you are, the experience will not change.
• SB Nation United will not take away or change any of the community elements you love like FanPosts and FanShots and GameThreads.

Basically, all the same Card Chronicle fun(?) we've all grown to know and love(?) only faster and sexier, which is really the best possible life combination there is.
