Tickets Remain For Louisville/UNC, FIU Game To Be On ESPN3

Here's the word from U of L:

Approximately 1,000 tickets remain for the University of Louisville's football game against North Carolina at Papa John' s Cardinal Stadium. The tickets are located in sections 1-5 of the UPS Flight Deck and can be purchased for $12.

The single-game tickets are from the fan allotment returned this week by North Carolina. Tickets may be purchased by by logging on to www.ticketmaster.com or by visiting either of the two U of L ticket offices, located near Gate 2 of Papa John's Cardinal Stadium adjacent to Floyd Street or on the third floor of the Swain Student Activities Center.

The Sun Belt Conference announced also that the FIU game on Sept. 22 will be shown on ESPN3.

The U of L/FIU game had originally been as being carried by ESPNU OR ESPN3.

Pretty weak that a Saturday night game featuring a (current) top 20 team can't get a softer land than ESPN3. The last time Louisville played a game that couldn't be seen anywhere on actual television was the 2010 game at Arkansas State in Charlie Strong's first season.

A pretty brutal introduction to life away from PJCS for Louisville fans.
