Last month, Digger Phelps told ESPN 680 radio host Jason Anderson Wednesday afternoon that College Gameday would be coming to Louisville this season for U of L's home game against Notre Dame.
Well, guess what? ESPN released its list of selected Gameday sites on Wednesday, and the KFC Yum Center is not on it.
Louisville/Notre Dame does appear on the list, but it's the date in South Bend (hmm) which gets the call from the popular program. As if that weren't enough of a slap in the face, the Cards vs the Irish is the only game on the list which isn't guaranteed to be the day's featured tilt.
Here's the full list of sites for this season:

Louisville has one of the most rabid fan bases in college basketball, the Cards are coming off a Final Four and might start the preseason ranked No. 1, and the show has never been to the Yum Center. Yeah, this exclusion makes sense.
Just another check in the negative column, Digger. You're now at minus three billion and one.
