Athlon Names Four Cards First Team All-Big East

New, 13 comments

Athlon has been high on Louisville all preseason, placing the Cardinals in their top 25 and picking them to win the Big East and play in the Orange Bowl. Because of that, it's a bit surprising to not see U of L dominate the publication's All-Big East teams.

Louisville has four players on Athlon's All-Big East first team, trailing both South Florida (5) and Connecticut (6). It's total of 10 players on the first, second and third teams is tied with two other teams for third most, again trailing the Huskies (12) and Bulls (14).
