I enjoy that use of the word "had."
According to Adam Himmelsbach of The Courier-Journal, the two groups (U of L and Charlie Strong Self-Representation Inc.) are attempting to iron out the details with the help of the law firm Wyatt, Tarant & Combs.
A U of L source told me the school is working on renegotiating Charlie Strong's contract this hour with help of Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs LLC.

Earlier Wednesday, CBS reported that Tennessee had offered its head coaching position to Oklahoma State's Mike Gundy. Gundy then apparently communicated that he was content in Stillwater. With Strong spending his pre-lunch hours working on a new contract with his current school, it sounds as though he may have done the same.
I would expect we'll get some official word on all this madness within the next few hours.
