U of L Commit Quentin Snider Faces Off Against The Harrison Twins

There are no lulls in the world of Louisville sports right now.

In addition to the U of L volleyball team playing in the second round of the NCAA Tournament tonight, Cardinal fans will also be keeping an eye on the Marshall County Hoopfest. It's there that U of L commit Quentin Snider and his top-ranked Ballard squad will be facing Fort Bend Travis (Richmond, Texas), a team featuring Kentucky commits Andrew and Aaron Harrison. The twins are rated as the No. 1 players in the class of 2013 at point guard and shooting guard, respectively.

Going head-to-head with the Harrisons will be among the toughest tests Snider has faced, but Ballard head coach Chris Renner believes the junior is up to the task.

"(Snider's) not this frail, weak kid that he was last year," Renner told The Voice-Tribune. "He's gained about 20 pounds in the last year and a lot of that is muscle."

Snider scored 20 points in Ballard's season-opening victory over Scott County last Friday.

Tipoff for tonight's game is scheduled for 10 p.m., and it will be live-streamed.
