The ACC Will Vote On Louisville Wednesday Morning

I'm so excited...I'm so excited...I'm so....scared

Christopher Hanewinckel-US PRESSWIRE

Wednesday is the day.

According to David Glenn of the ACC Sports Journal, ACC presidents and chancellors will participate in a 7 a.m. conference call Wednesday and then cast votes on the league's expansion candidates.

According to Glenn, Louisville is the only candidate with a realistic chance at receiving the 75% vote of approval needed for the conference to extend an invitation.

"Given the way the conversations have gone to this point, either Louisville will be approved for an invitation (Wednesday), or nobody will be approved for an invitation," one of Glenn's ACC sources said. "Any other result would be a major surprise."

Earlier Tuesday it was reported that Louisville was currently one vote shy of the 75% approval necessary to receive an invite. Though nothing official has been said about the stances of the respective schools, the three most rumored to be against the addition of U of L are Duke, North Carolina and Virginia.

Here's hoping one of them has had a change of heart, or will at some point between now and tomorrow morning.

Go ahead and set your alarms.
