The ripple effects from Louisville's loss to Syracuse continue to be felt.
The latest impact is the Big East announcing that U of L's final home game of the season against Connecticut on Nov. 24 will kickoff at noon. The contest has also received the dreaded "Big East Game of the Week" status, which means the Big East Network coverage will be seen locally on WHAS, and nationally on SNY.
Had the Cards remained undefeated, it's hard not to see the game being picked up for another ABC regional telecast.
This also marks the sixth straight season that Louisville's final home game will kickoff at noon or earlier (2009 Rutgers game was 11 a.m.).
I know it's going to be early and it's probably going to be cold, but let's make sure the seniors have a solid turnout for their festivities. It's a group that made history and that's now fighting for a spot in the BCS. Pretty sure that warrants some respect.
