Louisville was one of nine schools to survive the cut for class of 2012 center Robert Upshaw. The 7-footer from California says he's down to U of L, Arizona, USC, Georgetown, Fresno State, Kansas State, Maryland, UNLV and Oklahoma State.
"This is the first step, and it's been a very difficult step," he said. "These nine have everything I'm looking for -- academics, environment, all around the best for me."
Upshaw, the No. 32 player in the class according to Rivals, says he likely won't make a final choice until the spring.
