Cards lead nation in increased attendance

New, 56 comments

According to the NCAA, the Louisville football program was the nation's best in terms of increased attendance from the 2009 season to 2010.

Playing in an expanded Papa John's Cardinal Stadium and having received its Krag1N1 vaccine, U of L increased its average attendance for home games from 32,450 in 2009 to 50,648 last season. The 18,198 increase was easily the largest in the country. Northwestern finished a distant second at 12,259.

Of course, there's only one man to thank for this...
