Now that Duke has stopped recruiting him, one-time Louisville commit Rodney Purvis says he recently spoke with Cardinal coaches. For now though, he'd like to try and see how things go as just friends.
"I’m going to have to look at some things after this tournament," Purvis said. "I’m not sure (if Louisville will be back in the picture) right now. I just have to look at some things, think everything out and then come up with a final list.
"Right now, I am focused on basketball. I’ve been letting my mom handle the recruiting part. I just want to try and win (at AAU Nationals)."
