Former Louisville center George Goode is headed home.
"Next year I will be takin my talents to the University of Missouri," the native of Raytown, Mo. tweeted Thursday night.
Goode, who averaged 2.9 points in 8.0 minutes last season as a senior with Louisville, will be reunited with former Cardinal assistant Tim Fuller, who left U of L for Mizzou after just one season. The Tigers are widely considered to be a top 25 team headed into next season.
Goode will be eligible to play immediately due to an NCAA rule that allows players to transfer for a final year of eligibility if they graduate in four years and their current school doesn't have their desired graduate program.
While he may finish his career at Missouri, George Goode will always be a Cardinal. Best of luck to him next year and beyond.
