Rick Pitino press conference highlights

Here's the short and sweet:

--Elisha Justice, Chris Smith, and Kyle Kuric will all be walk-ons next season.

--He told Kuric when he originally signed with U of L that he may need to pull his scholarship at that point, and that time has come in his senior season.

--Though his name has been thrown around as a candidate for the open position at Boston University, Richard Pitino will be at Louisville for at least two years.

--Kevin Ware can play both the one and two guard position.

--Luke Hancock epitomizes what you want in a college basketball player because he's so versatile.

--Had been hoping to have Rakeem Buckles available for the series of games in the Bahamas, but trainer Fred Hina says that is unlikely.

--The Buckles injury hurts less than it would, because Chane Behanan will come in and make an immediate impact at the four.

--Gorgui Dieng has put on some significant muscle, and he's hoping he gains about ten more pounds before the start of the season. He would not be surprised if Dieng led the country in blocked shots this year.

--Preston Knowles is now out of his walking boot and can began working towards a playing career overseas.

--Is looking to only take one or two players from the class of 2012, and four from the class of 2013.

--Jared Swopshire's injury is still a total mystery, and Pitino has no idea what to expect from him in the coming months or next season.
