Eight class of 2013 prospects hear from Pitino

College coaches were able to call 2013 recruits for the first time yesterday, and after having said he was looking to sign at least four players from the class, Rick Pitino took full advantage.

Here's a brief look at the eight rising juniors who got a phone call from Pitino on Wednesday:

Troy Williams (6-6, 190 lbs., Hampton, Va.)

Long, lanky forward with exceptional scoring skills who is the 6th best player in the class according to ESPN, and No. 15 according to Rivals.

Kuran Iverson (6-8, 200 lbs., Windsor, Conn.)

He stands 6-8 but possesses the skills of a guard. Iverson might be the most naturally-gifted player in the class. Rivals has him at No. 8, ESPN at No. 12.

Goodluck Okonoboh (6-7, 190 lbs., Boston, Mass.)

His first name is Goodluck. That's all you really need to know. Big time athlete with great defensive skills. A bit limited offensively. ESPN has him at No. 33.

Kasey Hill (6-0, 160 lbs., Montverde, Fla.)

One of the top point guards in the class. No. 4 at the position and No. 26 overall, according to ESPN. Syracuse and Providence have already made hard pushes to land him.

Tyler Roberson (6-7, 195 lbs. Union, N.J.)

A bit of an under-the-radar small forward who has already received offers from Cincinnati, Rutgers, Seton Hall, and St. Joe's.

Greg McClinton (6-6, 180 lbs., Winston-Salem, N.C.)

Another long and lanky forward (who isn't lanky at 16?) with big time athleticism and a solid outside shot. Has been recruited hard by Tim Fuller at Missouri, as well as Wake Forest and Virginia Tech.

Zak Irvin (6-5, 180 lbs., Fishers, Ind.)

One of the top shooting guards in the class. Visited Louisville in February along with teammate and class of 2012 stud Gary Harris. Has already received offers from Indiana, Purdue, and Illinois, among others.

Brannen Greene (6-7, 200 lbs., Forsyth, Ga.)

Another one of the best shooters in the class. Has really risen over the past few months. Will visit Duke this month.
