The Kentucky All-Star team's attempt to upset the stacked team from Indiana in the first of a two-game series last night was thwarted when Kentucky signee Marquis Teague buried a jumper with less than two seconds to play.
The heavy underdogs from Kentucky - a squad which does not feature McDonald's All-American Chane Behanan - led for nearly the entire game.
Kentucky Mr. Basketball Anthony Hickey led the home team with 19 points, while Ryan Tayor - who may or may not be Louisville-bound at some point - chipped in 17. Cardinal signee Zach Price scored six points and puleld down four rebounds, all offensive.
The two teams will play again tonight in the Hoosier state.
