Clint Hurtt is back on his grind as Louisville received a pair of commitments today from wide receiver Brandon Snell and defensive tackle Teko Powell, who are teammates at Miami Norland High School.
Snell is a 5-11 wideout who was just beginning to receive major attention in the weeks leading up to this commitment. He had heard from Miami and Florida, and had offers from Rutgers and Vanderbilt before pledging his allegiance to Charlie Strong.
Here's Snell in action as a junior:
Powell is a 6-2, 265-pound tackle who originally committed to Florida State in February. He's advertised as being explosive for his size, so it will be interesting to see if he makes the move to end or puts on enough weight to be an effective college tackle. Regardless, it's great to have him aboard.
