Kevin Ware, the 6-4 shooting guard who originally signed with Tennessee but was granted a release after the school fired head coach Bruce Pearl, is being recruited like he's a high school sophomore again.
"It’s crazy with all the offers I’m getting, with it being this late in the year," Ware said. "I feel so blessed."
Ware told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that Louisville is currently the front-runner for his services, followed (in order) by UCLA, Georgia and Central Florida. He has scholarship offers from those four, as well as Georgetown, Florida State, Baylor, and Virginia. Ware said he will begin setting up official visits next week.
All signs at the moment certainly seem to be pointing towards Kevin Ware ending up as a Cardinal.
