AJC: Lorenzo Mauldin Says He's Made A Qualifying Test Score

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's Chip Towers reported on his recruiting blog today that Atlanta defensive end Lorenzo Mauldin announced on his Facebook page that he has earned a qualifying SAT score and will be eligible to play this fall. Mauldin was a long time South Carolina commit who learned on national signing day that his offer had been revoked when the Gamecocks and head coach Steve Spurrier decided they were over-committed in terms of scholarship numbers. Mauldin fills a position of need for Louisville and his qualifying should allow fans to breathe a big sigh of relief concerning the future of the Cardinals' defensive line.
