Playing without their leading scorer, rebounder, and shot-blocker, the Louisville Cardinals still managed to celebrate DePaul Day 2011 in style by breezing to a 61-57 victory over the visiting Blue Demons.
The game was never in doubt.
Kyle Kuric game off the bench to play 32 minutes and score a game-high 19 points.
"Dealing with these injuries has been the most agitating, annoying thing I've experienced in my coaching career," Cardinal head coach Rick Pitino said after the game.
"Still, beating DePaul was gnome problem," he absolutely did not add.
