Jerrell Moore sticks with Louisville

Fern Creek athlete Jerrell Moore announced today that he was sticking with Louisville after a somewhat dramatic courtship which included the two parting ways last month. He chose U of L over Central Florida.

Moore, who told Jody Demling that Charlie Strong wants him to become a "Percy Harvin player," becomes the 21st member of Louisville's recruiting class of 2011.

Played for Curtis Higgins at Fern Creek High School... decided to join Fern Creek teammates Jamon Brown and Jalen Harrington at Louisville... considered one of the top prospects in Kentucky... ranked as a three-star prospect by and the 67th-best player at his position... rated by as a three-star prospect and the ninth-best player in the state... changes direction well giving him the opportunity to make a man miss and out run another on the same play... has a skill set that can be utilized on short passes and in the return game... rushed for over 1,100 yards and 12 touchdowns as a senior... also totaled 350 yards receiving and five scores... registered eight touchdowns on punt and kickoff returns... threw for over 200 yards as a senior... recorded 899 rushing yards and 800 yards receiving as a junior.
