In a blog post about the recent Pitino/Cal war of words, Eric Crawford revisits the numbers from the largest-ever survey of sports fans in the state that the C-J undertook a few years ago. Here's the crucial graphic:
"There are just as many Kentucky fans as Louisville fans in your own city" is simply a lie. You'd think the fact that they can never sell out the one game a year they play in the city would be evidence enough, but sometimes (most times) it takes pictures to drive the point home.
