Louisville led by just one at the break, but held San Francisco to 11 points in the second half to improve to 7-0 by way of a 61-35 victory Wednesday night at the KFC Yum Center.
Four players scored in double figures for the Cards, led by Peyton Siva and Terrence Jennings who each netted 14 points. Rakeem Buckles pulled down a game-high ten rebounds.
Coming off of a 23-point performance Saturday against South Alabama, Mike Marra was limited to three points on 1-10 shooting, including 1-9 from beyond the arc. Sources say Marra was openly blaming CardsFan922 in the locker room after the game, an allegation the sophomore denies.
Louisville will face unbeaten and 19th-ranked UNLV at noon on Saturday,
