For the second straight season the Louisville football team has been picked to finish seventh in the Big East by the media in its preseason poll. Quite a rapid and dramatic fall from grace for a program which was tabbed as the preseason favorite or runner-up in each of its first three seasons in the conference.
Here's the complete poll:
Rank | Team | Points |
1. | Pittsburgh (8) | 161 |
2. | West Virginia (5) | 151 |
3. | Cincinnati (8) | 144 |
4. | USF (3) | 130 |
5. | Rutgers | 126 |
6. | Connecticut | 74 |
7. | Louisville | 51 |
8. | Syracuse | 27 |
Yeah I'm just going to go ahead and say it: I don't care how bad this league is, Pitt will not win it.
