Stu Miller update

According to Brian Bennett of the C-J, Stu Miller has picked his new school.

Walk-on guard Stuart Miller has left U of L and will play next season for Division II Lincoln Memorial University in his hometown of Harrogate, Tenn.

Miller will be immediately eligible for the Railsplitters and will be placed on scholarship for his final two seasons.

The 5-foot-10 Miller appeared in eight games this past season and scored eight points in a total of 24 minutes. He played in 13 games during his U of L career, scoring 14 total points.

"I don't regret going there," Miller told me this afternoon. "I had a lot of fun and I learned a lot. I just wanted to play more."

I'm not sure if Lincoln does promotional videos for its basketball team, but if so, I think this has to be part of the script: "My name is Stuart Miller. I go to Lincoln Memorial University. I play the two spot. We the Railsplitters. And nobody's f&%#in' wit' us."

The ending was cheap, Ray Allen was decent at best, but I still love He Got Game.

Best of luck to Stu at Lincoln Memorial.
