It's now been almost nine years since hefty and overly-boisterous point guard Khalid El-Amin led the Connecticut Huskies to their first national championship, and just in time for tonight's huge Big Monday game in Storrs, Card Chronicle has received this bit of late-breaking news on the former Husky: He still isn't cool.
While he has recently gone to great lengths to try and up his social standing - including becoming one of the top ten scorers in the ULEB Cup - the latest results still have him well short of tolerable, much less cool.
The good news for El-Amin is that he is still much, much cooler than current Connecticut football player Larry Taylor.
Ray Allen is still really cool though...Jake Voskuhl is still not.
