Jeremy Baker dismissed from team

Offensive lineman Jeremy Baker became the fourth Louisville football player to be thrown off the team this offseason when he was dismissed by head coach Steve Kragthorpe for a violation of team rules on Wednesday.

Baker, a 6-5, 340-pound monster out of Palm Beach, reshirted the 2006 season and wasn't expected to see considerable playing time in '07.

He joins Lamar Alston, Jonathan Holston and Tyler Wimsatt as players who have been told by Kragthorpe to find a new home.

It seems that some guys are still having difficulty adjusting to Kragthorpe's stern enforcement of a particular rule, despite the fact that with each dismissal it becomes more and more apparent that the new coach isn't going to stand for the transgression.
