William Gay Drafted by Pittsburgh

Louisville cornerback "Big Play" William Gay was the fourth and final Cardinal to be selected in the NFL Draft when the Pittsburgh Steelers took him in the fifth round with the 170th overall pick.

A first team All-Big East performer in his senior season, Gay led the team in interceptions with six and was also second on the team with 60 tackles. His  fourth quarter interception sealed Louisville's Orange Bowl victory over Wake Forest.

At least for the time being, Gay is expected to contribute mostly on special teams for the Steelers.
