Jenkins Wins Sportsmanship Award

The Big East Conference handed out its postseason awards Tuesday, and Louisville's Brandon Jenkins was tabbed as the league's Sportsmanship Award winner. Jenkins has played through pain this season while recovering a broken leg he suffered in August.

While I love that Jenks is being honored in his senior season, I think it's kind of hilarious that the guy who probably talks the most shit on the team is the Big East's Sportsmanship Award recipient. Congrats BJ, and keep it up. AJ Price is your bitch.

Expectedly, Georgetown's Jeff Green was named Player of the Year and Villanova's Scottie Reynolds took home Freshman of the Year honors. Marquette steal king Jerel McNeal was named Defensive Player of the Year, and Notre Dame's Mike Brey beat our Rick Pitino for Coach of the Year.

Also handing out postseason awards on Tuesday was the Big East blogosphere. Special thanks to the Big East Basketball Report for organizing this.
