Earl Clark has a blog!

Amid all the suspension and dissension on the gridiron, here's a piece of news that will bring a smile to the face of even the most annoyingly crotchety Cardinal fan: Earl Clark has a blog.

You'll have to excuse the exclamation point in the title, but this is a huge day for me and my "you can still be cool and have a blog" movement.

The super (cool) sophomore posted the following introductory message on Sept. 22:

What's up this is Earl!

Welcome to my blog site. I hope through this blog many of you who don't know me will get to know me and many of you who know me will get to know me a little bit more. I'll share some things with you and I'll try to answer many of your questions about school, my life, sports etc. Right now I am excited about my new website and look forward to getting to know some of you on line and setting the record straight when it comes to Earl Clark. I also wanted to put this site together for all of the E5 kids that I have come in contact with while visiting their schools in Rahway New Jersey. Mr. Arkbar's 5th graders at the Franklin Elementary School and the Rahway Middle School. I look forward to talking to them again using this site as a meeting spot. So get back at me!

The only negative here is that this first post is also the most recent, a fact unlikely to keep me from checking the site at least 75 times a day for updates.

On second thought, this is probably a good thing for me because if Earl Clark had a blog that he updated daily then why the hell would I even bother? It'd be like Stockton signing up for a slam dunk contest he knew LeBron had already agreed to participate in.
