Senior guard Brandon Jenkins injured his thumb in Louisville's won over Depaul Saturday, and is "doubtful" for tomorrow's game against Connecticut.
Pitino said the injury was "very minor," but Jenkins was still held out of Sunday's practice.
Injuries are nothing new to Jenkins who suffered a broken right leg and a high ankle sprain in a pickup game this summer.
BJ's injury coupled with Juan Palacios' 21-point performance Saturday likely means the death of the four guard starting lineup which has been in place since Louisville's Jan. 10 win over South Florida. Expect JDP to get the start along with Padgett, Smith, Williams and Sosa, although given Pitino's postgame comments praising Andre McGee's "experience," don't be surprised if you see Dre getting the nod at the 1 tomorrow night.
