Those of you with fully functioning eyes and no ad blocker have likely noticed the new advertisement at the top of the page. If you're using Firefox or have an ad blocker, then you can disregard this and return to your porn-related activities.
We don't really think it's that big of a deal, but some users on some of the other Sports Blog Nation sites have already started voicing their displeasure. Basically what it comes down to is that SBN is looking to turn a profit. They've been covering all us bloggers' hosting costs and whatnot, and they'd like to get some of that money back.
Quite frankly if these ads bother either of you enough that you're thinking of jumping off the Card Chronicle bandwagon (driven by Art Carmody) then maybe you'd be better off fraternizing with the jokers over at Kard Khronicle, because we don't want you here. Sure it was easy to stand by us when all we were working with were a few crazy links and a couple of poorly worded polls, but now at the slightest hint of controversy you're ready to sprint right out that red x. Well if you do then don't you dare look back, and don't look down either for you'll find the remnants of a once lively heart stuck amongst the crevaces of the soles on your shoes.
